Important Dates

Applications:

• 1 March 2007: application package must be postmarked by this date

• 1 April 2007: target date for notification of acceptances. Approximately 10 to 15% of applicants may expect an interview by telephone by the target date; a phone interview does not imply acceptance in the summer program. If you do not hear from us by April 11 and you must decide on another offer, please contact us via e-mail. Students not offered a position will be notified by e-mail during mid-May.

Summer Research:

• May 26-27 (Saturday/Sunday):  dormitory opens on the W&M campus
• May 28 (Monday): Cookout for all students and faculty at 4 PM
• May 29 (Tuesday): official program begins at 9 AM in Conference Room, Keck Lab
• August 1 (Wednesday): final presentations of intern research
• August 2 (Thursday): program evaluation and final meeting
• August 4 (Saturday): depart for home

Students on quarter schedules may be accommodated if their quarters end too late to begin on 29 May.
