Background
Elizabeth Grimm Arsenault is a PhD candidate from Georgetown University. She received her B.A. in Government and History from the College of William and Mary and her M.A. in Security Policy Studies from the George Washington University.  Her primary research interest is how norms affect foreign policy decision-making, specifically with regards to U.S. behavior in international armed conflict.  She has also worked for the U.S. government in the defense and national security sectors.
