The James Blair Historical Review

William & Mary students introduce a new undergraduate journal dedicated to student research

The James Blair Historical Review is an undergraduate journal dedicated to the publication of student research in various historical fields.  With the assistance of Associate Professor Jeremy Pope, who is faculty advisor to the Phi Alpha Theta Honor Society, undergraduates serve as editors, peer reviewers, and authors.  The inaugural issue of The James Blair Historical Review appeared in 2010.

The Department of History is delighted that students and faculty members have launched this new initiative.  History is both the study of the known and the discovery of the unknown; The James Blair Historical Review affords undergraduates the opportunity to be not just consumers of knowledge, but also producers of knoweldge.

The James Blair Historical Review is published both in hard copy and electronically.  Volumes are available in pdf format below.
