Bio

Annie Powell graduated from Cornell University in 2016 with degrees in History and English. She received a MA in History from William & Mary in 2018. She is currently writing a dissertation entitled "The Crisis of 1637 and the Making of Colonial New England," which studies the religious, political, and military conflicts that erupted in New England in the late 1630s. Annie has worked as an Editorial Apprentice for the Omohundro Institute of Early American History & Culture, a Teaching Assistant and Teaching Fellow within the History Department, and a Writing Consultant at the History Writing Center.
