Jenna Capeci (Women's Studies/Biology): Associate Director of Grants, American Jewish World Service
Jenna Capeci was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York and has worked to promote human rights, environmental protection and conflict resolution in Southeast Asia and East Africa. As the Associate Director of Grants, Asia at American Jewish World Service, Jenna oversees a multi-million dollar grassroots grantmaking program that spans seven countries in Asia. She directly manages grants to community-based organizations in Thailand and Burma. Prior to working with AJWS, Jenna spent four years with EarthRights International in Thailand, where she was responsible for coordinating an intensive training program for activists from Burma. She graduated from the College of William & Mary with a B.S. in Biology and Women's Studies and from Columbia University with an M.A. in International Affairs concentrating in human rights and conflict resolution.
