Community Action Projects in 2008

In 2008, projects included:
  • "Ninety Years of Women at William & Mary," a lecture/fundraiser to raise money for a memorial to the freshwomen of 1918
  • a campaign to increase awareness of the damaging effects of fashion (including toxic make-up)
  • a video about feminism on campus, in which students interviewed various people from the campus community about their ideas about and relationship with feminism
  • a campaign to publicize the gender wage gap
