Virginia Space Grant Consortium Research Fellowships
W&M graduate students are very competitive for the following fellowships from the Virginia Space Grant Consortium (VSGC). During the past two years, seven W&M A&S graduate students have received new $5,000 research fellowships and six W&M A&S grad students have received $5,000 renewals. The term "aerospace" is interpreted very broadly, although the application should explain the aerospace relevance of the research. If you have questions about these fellowships, please feel free to email [[sland, Laurie Sanderson]], Dean of Graduate Studies and Research.
Through four Scholarship/Fellowship programs, the VSGC awards nearly $300,000 annually to undergraduate and graduate students attending member universities and Virginia community colleges. Graduate Research Fellowships are $5,000 awards (renewable for one year) of add-on graduate support for students enrolled at a Virginia Space Grant university pursuing any field of graduate study in science, technology, engineering, or mathematics (STEM) with aerospace relevance (Master’s or Doctoral level). More information about the VSGC Scholarship and Fellowship Program, including a link to the online application, can be found on the VSGC web site.
