Background
Joel Schwartz is the Charles Center Director and a Professor in the College's Department of Government where he teaches Political Philosophy. He also directs the Monroe Scholar program and coordinates and teaches the Interdisciplinary freshman seminar "Perspectives on Citizenship and Community".
