Full Description
Professor Yujin Yaguchi is Associate Professor in the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences at the University of Tokyo, Japan. He earned an MA (1991) and Ph.D (1999) in American Studies at William and Mary. Professor Yaguchi's current research concerns the history of Hawaii and transpacific relations. He has published widely on Hawaiian history, the hula boom in Japan, memories of Pearl Harbor, and Japanese tourism in Hawaii.
