East Asian Studies
The East Asian region, which includes the great cultures of China, Japan, and Korea, is one of the most vibrant areas in the world today. Its vital strategic, economic, cultural, and political significance makes it imperative that we learn more about this region on multiple levels. To this end, the East Asian Studies program provides students the opportunity to explore the dynamic region through an interdisciplinary framework, combining extensive Chinese and/or Japanese language training with coursework in anthropology, art, economics, government, history, literature, philosophy, and religion.
Congratulations EAS faculty publication!
