Teaching Materials

You will need to upload your materials into the following folders. More information is given below under each category.

  • Syllabus
    • Every file should be named to indicate the year and semester in which the course was taught and either an abbreviation of the course name or the course and section number of the course, e.g., 2006-FallCLCV490-01Syll.
  • Teaching Evaluations
    • If your Department uses paper evaluations, you do not have to scan them here. In such cases, you should put the evaluations in your hard copy dossier and submit them to the Dossier Manager. Otherwise, please submit .pdf evaluations in this folder.
Note: Some Departments have the staff summarize comments on teaching evaluations in a separate digital file maintained by the department before handing the actual paper evaluations back to faculty. In such cases, you should submit that digital file in this folder.
    • If you are submitting student evaluations in electronic form, you will need to provide the electronic files containing the evaluations. If the evaluations themselves were conducted electronically, then you simply need to upload those files. If they were done on paper and then scanned, you will need to upload both the evaluation forms themselves (back and front) per course and the statistical summaries of the evaluations per course into this folder. Every file should be named to indicate the year and semester in which the course was taught, an abbreviation of the course name or the course and section number of the course, and an indication as to whether the file contains the student evaluations (Ev) or the statistical summary (SS) or both (EvSS) of the course, e.g., 2006-FallCLCV490-01Ev or 2006-FallCLCV490-01SS or 2006-FallCLCV490-01EvSS
  • Supplementary Materials
    • This can be any supporting material: websites, videos, exams, worksheets, rubrics, gradesheets, letters from colleagues, class visitation reports, etc. If materials are submitted for a particular course, the file should be named to indicate the year and semester in which the course was taught, either an abbreviation of the course name or the course and section number of the course, and an indication of the material inside it, e.g., 2006-FallCLCV490-01Final.
