Procedural Review Committee

The Procedural Review Committee shall be a standing committee of eight members and eight alternates; four shall be elected from the Faculty of Arts and Sciences, and one each from the Schools of Business, Education, and Law, and the Virginia Institute of Marine Science, which includes the School of Marine Science. Each faculty or school shall provide for means of selection and for alternates.

The Procedural Review Committee is charged with reviewing the procedures established by departments and schools for the evaluation of faculty members. The committee meets every two weeks at present in order to catch up on the backlog resulting from the Faculty Handbook revision last year. Normally the committee meets monthly if required by the workload.
