  • October 17, 2014 update from EPC regarding impementation of the COLL curriculum.
  • Status of the COLL Curriculum as of November 4, 2014.
  • COLL Application forms. Note: Pilot courses and permanent courses are approved with the same form -- pilot courses are just offered early. Questions? Please email [[epc]].
    • COLL 100 Topics Course Application Form. Departments and programs are encouraged to use this form to set up a COLL 100 topics course for each prefix (ENSP 100, COLL 100, PHYS 100, etc.). This is the recommended catalog language for all COLL 100 topics courses. Individual instructors should not use this form unless they are authorized by the department or program.
    • COLL 100 Section Application Form. Individual instructors should use this form to have a specific section of COLL 100 approved (ENSP 100-01, COLL 100-01, PHYS 100-01, etc.). Be sure to submit a syllabus separately to [[epc]]. Want to see samples?
    • COLL 150 Topics Course Application Form. Departments and programs are encouraged to use this form to set up a First-Year Seminar topics course for each prefix (ENSP 150, ENGL 150, etc.). This is the general catalog language for all First-Year Seminars using a specific prefix. Individual instructors should not use this form unless they are authorized by the department or program.
    • COLL 150 Section Application Form. Instructors should use this form to have the writing component of a specific First-Year Seminar approved (e.g., ENSP 150-01, ENGL 150-01, etc.). The writing component will be reviewed by the Writing Committee the first time that section is offered as a COLL 150. More information here.
    • COLL 200 Application Form. Be sure to also submit a syllabus  to [[epc]]. This form is to seek COLL 200 approval for a new or existing course. If this is a new course, you probably won’t need to submit a New Course Application Form. Want to see samples
  • New Course Application Form. Please use this when you are creating a new course number and catalog language. If this is a new COLL course, the forms above will probably suffice.
  • Course Change Form. Please use this when you are making changes to an existing course (changing the number of credits, changing the catalog language, changing the prerequisites, or asking for a cross-list with an existing course).
  • Curriculum Change Application Form. Please use this form to change catalog language associated with a major or minor.
