Committee on Sustainability

In 2008, College President Taylor Reveley formed the Committee on Sustainability (CoS), which is tasked with increasing the environmental and sustainable performance of William and Mary, from operational, financial, research, and educational perspectives.

CoS is a tremendously active group, comprised of more than a hundred student, staff, and faculty volunteers, that has already made great improvements to the sustainability of our campus. Students are strongly encouraged to get involved with CoS through their website as new projects arise every semester and CoS (through dissemination of student green fees) funds new initiatives at least three times a year. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference at William and Mary.
