Areas of Specialization

African Diaspora studies, African studies, transnationalism, post colonialism, cultural studies (i.e. cultural productions), and racial and ethnic identity formation.

Background
Olaocha Nwabara received her Ph.D. in African American and African Studies at Michigan State University. She received a master’s degree in Communications from Grand Valley State University, and bachelor’s degree in Management and Human Resources from Purdue University.
