Background

Olivier (Oli) Coibion received his undergraduate degree from University of California at Berkeley in 1999. He then spent a year working as a research assistant at the Brookings Institution, followed by a year at the Council of Economic Advisers. Oli received both an M.A. (2004) and Ph.D. (2007) in economics from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. His main research interests lie in macroeconomics. He is currently teaching intermediate macroeconomics.
