Brian Beach, assistant professor of economics, received his Ph.D. from the University of Pittsburgh in 2015. His research interests include public economics, economic history, and labor economics. At the undergraduate level, Professor Beach will teach principles of microeconomics and economics of the public sector. He will also teach a masters-level course in public economics for the Thomas Jefferson Program in Public Policy.
