Homecoming 2010
| November 30, 2010Departmental events held during Homecoming weekend included a mini-symposium, where Professors Bob Archibald and David Feldman discussed and signed copies of their new book, Why Does College Cost So Much? (Oxford University Press). Professor Clyde Haulman presented on "Virginia in the Panic of 1819," and Professor Melissa McInerney discussed workplace safety and the economic impact of workers' compensation insurance.
Following the presentations, the department co-hosted an alumni reception with International Relations, Public Policy, and Government. It was a great opportunity to visit with old friends and professors, meet current students, and relax over drinks and hors d'oeuvres. Take a minute to view the photo gallery below (if the slideshow doesn't start, you can view it on Picasa). We hope to see you here next year!
