Instrumentation

The department maintains an excellent collection of modern instrumentation and equipment for research and teaching. In addition to being exposed to a wide variety of instrumentation through the teaching lab curriculum, students conducting research are provided with the necessary training to independently operate virtually any instrument required to conduct their research. The teaching labs are equipped with a wide variety of instrumentation to afford students modern laboratory exercises and techniques. A wide variety of instruments are maintained in individual research labs as well.
