Dear Scholars in the Class of 2020,
Congratulations on your designation as a William & Mary Scholar! Your award represents the accomplishments and achievements that you have earned so far in your academic career and you should be truly proud.
The William & Mary Scholars Undergraduate Research Experience (WMSURE) is a unique program that was developed to provide resources to you so that you might pursue undergraduate research experiences at William & Mary. WMSURE is also designed to encourage you to continue your education at the graduate level. Examples of WMSURE activities include: personalized advising, funding for research and travel (by application), weekly workshops, social activities and guest speakers designed to your specific interests.
I would like to invite you and everyone you would like to bring with you to learn more about the William & Mary Scholars Undergraduate Research Experience (WMSURE) on April 16th at the WMSURE Day for Admitted Students program at either 1:30 pm or 2:10 pm in the James Room of the Sadler Center and on Sunday, April 17 at Sneak Peek WMSURE Research from 11:00 AM -5:00 PM in Tidewater AB of the Sadler Center for our research program, following the Sneak Peek multicultural weekend.
At Sneak Peek WMSURE Research, you will meet faculty and students who are actively engaged in research and will tour research facilities. Parents are invited to join us at the end of the day for a Q&A session.
