Dr. Anne Charity Hudley Welcomes the Newest William and Mary Scholars
Dear Scholars in the Class of 2019,
Congratulations on your designation as a William & Mary Scholar! Your award represents the accomplishments and achievements that you have earned so far in your academic career and you should be truly proud.
The William & Mary Scholars Undergraduate Research Experience (WMSURE) is a unique program that was developed to provide resources to you so that you might pursue undergraduate research experiences at William & Mary. WMSURE is also designed to encourage you to continue your education at the graduate level. Examples of WMSURE activities include: personalized advising, funding for research and travel (by application), weekly workshops, social activities and guest speakers designed to your specific interests.
I would like to invite you and your family to learn more about the William & Mary Scholars Undergraduate Research Experience (WMSURE) on April 11th during the Day for Admitted Students program at either 1:00 pm or 2:00 pm in the James Room of the Sadler Center. I would also like to invite you to our new ESCAPE Research Program on Sunday April 12th from 10:30 am - 5:00 pm in Tidewater AB of the Sadler Center. ESCAPE Research is exclusively for admitted William & Mary Scholars.
At ESCAPE Research, you will meet faculty and students who are actively engaged in research and will tour William & Mary's research facilities that aren’t included on general admission tours. Parents are invited to join us at the end of the day for a question and answer session. Please be sure to also register for the Day for Admitted Students and ESCAPE.
I look forward to seeing you and yours on the weekend of April 11th!
