W&M Awarded Grant from the Jessie duPont Fund
The WMSURE program recently was awarded a $68,000 grant from the Jessie Ball dupont Fund on a cash-match basis. Our goal is to receive $68,000 from donations and other grant money, for which the duPont Fund will match it. Help us reach our goal by giving to our program.
This three-year grant will enable us to educate Virginia high school students about undergraduate research, to fund WMSURE faculty and student research efforts, to hire undergraduates to serve as WMSURE peer advisors and mentors, and to support a state-wide conference how to best support underrepresented students in the classroom and in research. Learn more about our duPont Fund Grant.
Your contribution to the Willliam and Mary Scholars Program will help our faculty provide the best learning experience to our students.
We use private funds to provide operational and programmatic support for the participants in the WMSURE program. Private funds are used to assist students in their research projects and to help cover travel expenses for students and guest lecturers.
