Nansi Rodriguez-Gramajo

Class of 2019

Major: Linguistics and Accounting

About Me

I am Nansi Rodriguez-Gramajo, a current sophomore at William and Mary. I am a first-generation college student hoping to study both Linguistics and Accounting. I am from Fredericksburg, Virginia. I am a middle child who loves coffee and languages. I speak Spanish, English, and French. I hope to learn more languages in the future. I have a beautiful family that supports me tremendously and I would not be where I am now without them.
I enjoy being active and volunteering. I am always willing to try new things, especially new foods. I am currently part of the Tennis Club, Smart Woman Securities Chapter, Sign Language Club, and WMSURE. Currently, I am hoping to start my own personal research focused on Linguistics this year.
I am an optimistic at heart; enjoying the little things that life offers like how even a bad cup of coffee is better than no coffee at all. However, I do not believe in settling and getting too comfortable because there are always new things to learn, new things to experience.

Office Hours Topics

During my office hours, I would like to focus on subjects that will help incoming freshman like time management, a good studying routine, the transition from home, and how to feel comfortable on campus and finding the right clubs that correspond to your interests. I also plan on having one session a week where you can come study or just hang out to de-stress.
