Moesha  Parson

Class of 2020

Major: Neuroscience; Pre-Med

About Me

I am Moesha Parson, a current sophomore at William and Mary. I am a first-generation college student studying Neuroscience and Africana Studies with a concentration in Pre-Med. I am from Portsmouth, Virginia. I am a middle child who loves to sing and make people laugh. I would not be where I am today without having my very supportive family. I enjoy being active and volunteering. I am always willing to try new things, especially learning new cultures. I am currently part of the Pre-Med Club, Syndicate Hip Hop Dance Team, ScholarMatch Peer Advisor and WMSURE. Currently, I am involved in two research labs on campus. I am involved in a "Neurodegenerative disease-Alzheimer's" biochemistry lab and a "Social Bias" psychology lab. I am a very optimistic person; it's essential to enjoy every little aspect that life has to offer.

Office Hour Topics
During my office hours, I would like to focus on subjects that will help incoming freshman like adjusting to college life, developing a good studying routine, dealing with stereotype threat and finding the right clubs that correspond to your interests while balancing your studies.
