Community-Based Learning and Research

Sharpe and the Community Studies programs support faculty across the curriculum in efforts to integrate community-based teaching and research.  Some faculty offer courses within our programs, such as freshman seminars in Sharpe or core courses in the Community Studies minor.  However, some faculty across departments have developed community-based approaches to teaching and mentoring student research to integrate community-based action and research within their academic disciplines.
