Research

Through their active research programs, Biology faculty and their students discover and publish new knowledge, from molecular genetics to ecosystem dynamics. Besides contributing to our understanding of the natural world, faculty research brings vitality into the classroom and provides opportunities for large numbers of undergraduates and Masters students to engage in real research with impact on medicine, environmental policy, product development and most importantly, the body of human knowledge.
