| November 26, 2012Despite the threat of Hurricane Sandy, alumni reunited for the 2012 Homecoming Reception. This marks the third year in a row that an alumnus gave the Friday seminar. Dr. Laura Terry (W&M 03), now a post-doctoral researcher at Princeton University, gave a seminar entitled "Cellular and viral kinases intersect to regulate human cytomegalovirus replication". Alumni interested in giving a seminar during Homecoming are encouraged to [[biology,contact the department]].
After the seminar and Homecoming parade, a reception was held in the greenhouse. Alumni coming back for their first reunion mingled with those celebrating a 50th reunion!
