I have conducted fieldwork in a variety of places throughout the United States. I undertook post-construction bird & bat mortality surveys at large wind farms in Oregon and Texas, and also researched Lesser Prairie-chickens in Kansas. In addition, I spent a season performing nocturnal surveys for Mexican Spotted Owls in rugged parts of New Mexico and Arizona.
