Honors Projects

The following two Art History students completed an Honors Thesis project this year: Erin Sexton and Casey Lesser.

 

Student Presentations - Medieval and Renaissance Symposium

The following students presented at the Second Undergraduate Research Symposium in Medieval and Renaissance Studies here in March. These students presented the results of the research that they conducted in Quito, Ecuador, in summer 2010:

Jody Green
: "Andean Artists in Colonial Quito: The Case of Nicolas Pauca and Francisco Monga"

Kate O'Brien: "Parchment, Patronage, and Platería: Pedro de Adrián's Commission for the Cathedral of Quito"
Kate O'Brien's research paper was one of five out of more than 30 submissions that was selected for publication in the James Blair Historical Review, an undergraduate peer-reviewed journal (the title of her article is the same as the talk above). It came out in the spring 2011 volume.
