BackgroundMegan Victor received her BA from the University of Michigan in 2010 in Anthropological Archaeology and French. She is currently continuing work on maritime and coastal communities, especially in New England and the Isles of Shoals. Currently, she is looking into the ways in which piracy, smuggling, and the informal market of illegal and unreported trade appears in the archaeological record.
