Background:

Brittany, from Jacksonville,  Florida, received her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Florida with a major in Anthropology.  Her field work was completed at Kingsley plantation in Jacksonville, Fl.  While attending the University of Florida she served as a lab assistant  for the University’s archaeology lab as well as the Florida Museum of Natural History . Her current endeavors include RSRFP ( Remembering Slavery Resistance and Freedom Project), I.E. (International Education Project) and her own research on 17th and 18th century mortuary practices of Afro Barbadians.
