This 6-credit archaeological field methods class is centered on excavations at the Powhatan Indian village of Kiskiak.

This summer’s excavations will focus on colonial-era deposits containing evidence of trade with the Jamestown colony.

The site is located 15 minutes from the William & Mary campus.  The class meets on campus Monday to Friday from 8 am to 4 pm.  Transportation to/from the site provided.   On-campus housing is available.
