Background

My major research interest is the comparative colonial archaeology of the inequality and cultural pluralism produced by English colonization of the Atlantic world, with emphasis on the rural and urban landscapes of New England, the Chesapeake, Bermuda, and Barbados and how these landscapes figure in the contemporary creation of heritage within these same areas.
