Amy Speckart is a Ph.D. candidate pursuing a career in preservation and museums. Her academic focus is the history and material culture of the former British American colonies to 1820. Her dissertation explores the landscape history of a Chesapeake plantation. In 2002 she was a US/ICOMOS International Summer Intern in preservation assigned to The National Trust of England.
