Opportunities for Students
Study possibilities exist with the art and architectural resources of the Colonial Williamsburg Foundation, the Joseph and Margaret Muscarelle Museum of Art and other art museums.Students seriously interested in graduate or professional study in art are encouraged to contact the Chair in order to determine whether they are eligible to enroll in 60 hours of Art and Art History courses. Deadline for proposals is usually March 1.
A number of work possibilities exist through the Student Aid Program, affording students experience in assisting with the art, art history and museum programs.
In addition to regular classes, workshops in various media are offered annually, usually in connection with exhibitions and symposia.
