Margaret Connolly and Stacy Keating are the first-ever winners of the undergraduate admission office's "Toasted by Admission" award. Connolly and Keating staff for the College's scheduling office, part of the student activities division.
Connolly and Keating are instrumental in helping the admission office secure locations across campus for our various recruitment and yield events. Many of these events, especially our marquis program, Day for Admitted Students, require a great deal of space external to the admission building and great deal of coordinating. The scheduling office staff is instrumental in providing the admission office the space needed to pull off the many large-scale programs it hosts. Furthermore, they are incredibly responsive to any space-related hiccups.
Senior Assistant Dean of Admission, Jennifer Scott, who nominated Margaret and Stacy told the admission staff, "Stacy and Margaret are exceedingly supportive of our needs as an office and go to great lengths to assist us as we work to create and implement exceptional programs for our prospective and admitted students. They are flexible, easy to communicate with, friendly and available." Scott went on to say, " There is rarely a time when I call that I don’t get a person on the phone and a resolution to an issue. They see our work and our needs as central to the mission of the College and support them accordingly. I am grateful to have them as part of our institutional team, and am quite sure they don’t regularly get the kind of pat-on-the-back they deserve."
The inagural after-work "toast" at Berrett's was a great success. Not only were the award recipients able to be personally honored but it also gave the staff of two offices a chance to meet face-to-face.
