Are interviews offered?

Evaluative interviews are offered only during the summer months (June, July and August) and only on-campus. Most interviews are conducted by rising W&M seniors.

Is an interview required?

Interviews are not required. Students may elect to sign up for an interview as another way to demonstrate to the Admission Committee their strengths and potential contribution to the W&M community.

How is the interview used in the admission process?

Interviews, like extracurricular activities and personal statements, are an additional means for the Admission Committee to judge the potential contributions a student will make to the campus community. Since interviews are optional and limited, students without interviews will not be disadvantaged in the admission process.

How do I sign up for an interview?

Interview signups must occur on-line on our interview webpage. Interview requests cannot be made before May.
