Erin Battle's Bio
Who Am I?
I’ve lived in Northern Virginia (YEAH NOVA!) my whole life. I attended West Springfield High School and went on to The College of William and Mary where I graduated in 2013 with a B.A. in Psychology and a B.A. in Linguistics. I’m now pursuing my M.Ed. in Higher Education Administration from the William and Mary School of Education.
Why William and Mary?
I love everything about the College! From our gorgeous campus to our amazing students, the College is everything I’ve ever wanted. I’ve met some of my best friends here and had some of my most unforgettable experiences here. All you have to do is walk on campus and you’ll see exactly what I mean!
I volunteered in the Admission Office starting my freshman year as a Tour Guide and have wanted to work here ever since. As a Senior Interviewer (shout out to our awesome moms Wendy Livingston and Tish Lyte!), I got an even better feel of what it’s like to work is the office and I realized how much I love getting to know the students and how amazing the staff is here!
What’s with the Photo?
I’ve played volleyball since the 8th grade and am even on the Gold Club Team here at the College (GO SPANDIES!). I got this volleyball while working for the Side-Out Foundation which raises money for breast cancer research through volleyball. It’s even signed by 3-time Olympic Beach Volleyball Gold Medalist Kerri Walsh-Jennings!
What Do I Do?
I read all of the applications from Alexandria and Arlington in Virginia. In addition to that, I help out with some of the Multicultural Recruitment Events on campus like Autumn Blast and Escape.
- I’ve never eaten at Taco Bell or KFC.
- Even though I’ve lived right outside of Washington, DC my whole life, I’m a huge Dallas Cowboys fan!
