Deposit and Activate
Available online. Now that's easy.
William & Mary offers three ways to submit your enrollment deposit. Your enrollment deposit is a non-refundable, one-time payment which will be applied toward your first semester bill. Enrollment deposits are due within two weeks of the date on your decision letter.
Depositing Online (Internet Explorer recommended)
When making a deposit online you will need your W&M Student ID number which is the nine digit number beginning with 93 printed at the bottom of your admission letter (it was also included in your application received and application completed emails).
Methods of Payment
- Pay by credit card online (please return the response card separately using the envelope included in your admit pack). There is an additional 2.99% fee charged to those paying by credit card. Note that only American Express, Discover, and Mastercard are accepted. Internet Explorer is recommended.
- Pay with your checking or saving account online (please return the response card separately using the envelope included in your admit pack). Internet Explorer is recommended.
- Pay by check, cash or money order (made payable to The College of William & Mary) using the response card and return envelope included in your admit pack.
Activate your W&M Account
First
You'll need your student ID number (aka your 93#) which can be found at the bottom of your admission letter and email. You will also need the email address that you listed on your admission application.
Activate
Next, you need to activate your account. Upon activating your account, you will be able to create a secure, personalized password. When the time comes, you will use your WMuserid and new password to acess myWM and other campus services, including the ability to view your financial aid award.
Once you pay your enrollment deposit, you will be able to activate your W&M email account. You'll want to check it frequently, as many campus offices will communicate with you at this email address in the months leading up to your arrival on campus.
