Application Process

November 1 is the deadline for students applying to transfer for the spring and March 1 for students applying to transfer for the fall semester.

We encourage you to apply online using the Common Application. The Transfer Common Application, W&M Transfer Supplement and $70 application fee may all be submitted online.  The application fee is waived for anyone who has served honorably in the armed forces of the United States. If you prefer, you may also download the application and all required forms. Students who have applied to William & Mary within the past year do not need to complete the entire application again.
