Monroe Quotes

At my Monroe Weekend, I met the most hilarious, intelligent, inspiring scholars who were just as excited to learn and share their ideas with the world as I was. The experience helped me realize that I could go anywhere to be a student for four years, but only William & Mary could let me be a scholar.
-Sarah Kinniburgh

One word resonated through my mind during Monroe Weekend: finally. Finally, I met a group of students who loved learning as much as I did. Finally, I found instructors who were fully dedicated to their students' educations. Finally, I understood what people meant when they talked about the William & Mary community. Finally, I found a place where I truly belonged. I fell in love, and I haven't looked back since.
