Apply for aid for the St. Andrews Program

To apply for aid for the St. Andrews program, follow the instructions for new and transfer students.

We will be able to provide limited financial aid for the St. Andrews joint degree program.   For Virginia residents, we will restrict your need-based grant aid to what you would receive if you were enrolled in the standard undergraduate program.   In many cases, this will leave a substantial gap between your need and what we are able to offer.  Furthermore, financial aid initiatives such as Gateway and William & Mary Scholars will not be applied to the aid package for joint degree students.  For non-Virginians, we will not be able to offer need-based grant funds.  If you are accepted to both the joint degree and standard programs, you will receive two separate award letters.

We will be able to offer federal aid, including loans, for your first year.  Funding for your sophomore and succeeding years will be contingent upon the joint program being approved by the U.S. Department of Education.  We fully expect this to occur, but will not receive a final decision until sometime next year.
