Academic Resources for Undergraduates

Helping you help yourself.

From the day you step foot on the William & Mary campus, we've got your academic back. First, you'll sit down with your academic advisor to draft a rough four-year plan—where you want to go and the coolest way to get there. We'll encourage you to sample broadly – to take courses in disciplines and fields that you know nothing about. Then you'll spend a delightful day with the course catalog followed by a trip to the College Bookstore.

If "Introduction to Kinesiology" turns out to be less exciting than it sounds, the friendly folks at the Registrar's Office will be happy to swap it out for "Elementary Chinese I." And if you ever forget what time class starts and when final exams arrive, refer to the handy online schedule of classes and academic calendars.

When it's time for that first big research paper, the Writing Resources Center can help guide you from brainstorming through bibliography. Want to learn more about honors and interdisciplinary programs or funding for research? Then the Roy R. Charles Center is the place to visit. And the Career Center can hook you up with a sweet summer internship to get you just the right kind of experience for nailing that perfect post-graduation job.
