It began as a resource for teaching people how to use technology, but has expanded over the years to include many different topics. This resource is free to employees and students of the College and VIMS and is being sponsored by Swem Library, Information Technology (IT), and Human Resources (HR). Lynda.com

DHRM upgraded to a new system and is available for those employees who need to take training courses mandated or offered through the Commonwealth of Virginia. Your STATE ID number (found on health insurance cards) is needed to access the system. Once you enter the system, you can change the Login ID to your W&M ID or some other ID that is personal to you. Book Discussion: The Gifts of Imperfection

The Gifts of Imperfection by Dr. Brene Brown is a guide to wholehearted living. It is a good follow-up to the Spark Leadership presentation, or you can read and join the discussion even if you were unable to attend Spark Leadership. The book is so powerful that it will be covered in two parts.

Travel Training Monthly Workshops 

Basic Travel Training workshops will be held monthly in the General Accounting Conference Room on Mt. Vernon Ave. The training will focus on 2017 College Travel Policy requirements, a review of the required forms and tips on completing the forms. The workshops will also provide participants an opportunity to address specific questions or concerns. Workshops are limited to 10 participants.
