Vice President for Strategic Initiatives

As vice president for strategic initiatives, James R. Golden works closely with the President, Provost, the other Vice Presidents, the Athletic Director (AD), and the Deans of the various schools to identify, explore, evaluate and coordinate strategic initiatives with significant potential benefits for W&M.

The VPSI has, in addition, operational responsibility for the Office of Economic Development and administrative oversight of the offices of government relations, university relations and publications.
