Jennifer Gülly

Visiting Assistant Professor of German Studies

Background

Jennifer Gülly, Visiting Assistant Professor of German Studies, received her Magistra from the University of Vienna, Austria, and holds a Ph.D. from UCLA in Comparative Literature.  She taught at Pomona College before taking a postdoctoral position at Carnegie Mellon University, and then spent two years as a Provost’s Postdoctoral Scholar at the University of South Florida. Her research and teaching interests lay at the intersection of literary form, language policy and immigration politics. At William & Mary she will be teaching German language classes and courses on German film and literature.
