Visiting Lecturer in the Center for Geospatial Analysis
Matt Gerike, Visiting Lecturer in the Center for Geospatial Analysis, comes to William & Mary from the City of Columbia, Missouri, where he worked for seven years to innovate and advance the role of geospatial technologies in operating and managing a full-service city. Prior to this, he worked for the University of Missouri on GIS data development and analysis projects including broadband service and access, emergency response, and historical land cover. Matt's background is in geography, with graduate degrees from Kansas State University and undergraduate degrees in geography and history from the University of Missouri. Matt's research interests include the field of digital humanities and visualizing patterns in textual data.
