Background
Tyler Frazier is Visiting Assistant Professor of Interdisciplinary Studies in the Charles Center at William & Mary. He has previously served as a Research Assistant Professor and Adjunct Lecturer in the Institute for the Theory & Practice of International Relations at W&M. Prior to joining William & Mary during the summer of 2015, he held academic appointments at the University of Bonn, the Santa Fe Institute, and the Technical University of Berlin, as well as serving as an invited lecturer at the University of Legon in Accra, the Technical University of Munich and the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology. His research focuses on advancing modern geospatial statistical methodology to describe and infer the dimensions of global human development with a regional emphasis on West Africa. His teaching focuses on the application of these geospatial data science methods through the use of open source, interpretative programming languages such as R, SQL, LaTeX and HTML. For additional information please see his faculty webpage at http://tjfrazier.people.wm.edu.
