Paulina Carrion

Visiting Instructor of Hispanic Studies

Paulina Carrion, Visiting Instructor of Hispanic Studies, has been an educator for more than twenty years.  During that time she has taught in diverse range of settings with regards to age, ability, socio-economic status and race and ethnicity.  Fluent in Spanish, English and American and Ecuadorian Sign Language, Professor Carrion has taught in public and private schools both in the U.S. and Ecuador including international, bilingual immersion programs and a public school for the deaf.  Throughout her career, she has worked with parents, administrators and faculty to develop curricula, programs, projects and initiatives geared towards making second language acquisition more efficient, culturally relevant and fun.
