Mr. Snyder earned his B.A. in Government from the College of William & Mary in 1994. During his time at William & Mary, Mr. Snyder was elected as both junior and senior class president, and was awarded the Benjamin Stoddart Ewell Award in recognition of his campus leadership and academics. Mr. Snyder was the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of New Media Strategies, industry pioneer and market leader in online intelligence and social media marketing, and President of Emerging Markets Group for Meredith Integrated Marketing, Meredith Corporation's full-service direct and digital marketing agency. In 2012, Mr. Snyder stepped down from the day-to-day operations of New Media and started a new company, Disruptor, Inc., a Virginia-based seed and angel capital investment company. Mr. Snyder regularly appears as a media commentator and serves on the marketing board of the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, the board of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation and the Board of Trustees of Cushing Academy. Mr. Snyder was appointed to the Board of Visitors in 2011.
