Board of Visitors

The Board of Visitors (BOV) is the governing body for the College of William & Mary. The Governor of Virginia appoints individuals to serve four year terms in the service of the College.

The seventeen members of the Board of Visitors gather in Williamsburg several times each year to discuss matters of long-term planning and budget for William & Mary. The Board of Visitors meets in Blow Memorial Hall and regularly engages the campus community through its 11 committees, and the alumni community through participation at annual and special events.

The last Board of Visitors meeting was held on November 18-20.  The Board of Visitors will meet next in 2010, and the meeting dates are as follows:

February 3-5
April 14-16 
September 15-17
November 17-19 (November 18th will be at Richard Bland College)
